Welcome to my Class!


There are many benefits of Zumba such as weight loss and stress relief, increased confidence and an increased sense of well being, so the more you come to Zumba with FitLisa the better you will feel!
 
There are no commitments or contracts while attending my classes, so feel free to attend whenever you like.  I also have punchcards available, so instead of bringing money into class each time, you can purchase 5 classes in advance for $25.  Just ask the person at the sign in desk about it.
 
Keep in mind that the more you do my class the better you will get at it, so keep it up! And, Zumba with FitLisa is even more fun with your friends, so tell them about my class and bring them next time you come!

What is Zumba® Fitness


Zumba® Fitness is the hottest workout sweeping the nation! Zumba® Fitness is a fusion of Latin and International music - dance themes that create a dynamic, exciting, effective fitness system! Zumba® Fitness (pronounced "zoomba") is a unique and exciting high energy fitness class that incorporates mainly Latin movements and rhythms as well as a diversified mix of worldly exotic flavors. This includes, but is not limited to, dances such as Salsa, Merengue, Bachata, Tango, Cha Cha and Latin Hip Hop (also known as Reggaeton). The routines feature aerobic interval training with a combination of fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body. It targets areas such as glutes, legs, arms, abdominal and most importantly, the heart! The dance steps are easy to follow and participants can adjust to their fitness level by increasing their pace and amount of movements. No dance or exercise experience is necessary to enjoy Zumba® Fitness!

Zumba® Fitness was structured to follow the principals of interval training, which helps maximize caloric output. Participants typically burn between 400-800 calories during one hour of Zumba® Fitness! Sticking with Zumba® Fitness achieves long term benefits which not only are great for the body, but also the mind as well.
